Terms of Service
Last updated July 29, 2026. Version v2026-07.2.
1. The service
givemeanode provides on-demand GPU machines ("nodes") reachable through the service's API, operated by the San Francisco Compute Company ("we", "us"). By creating an account or connecting to the service you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
Access is tied to the credentials linked to your account. Keep them secure; you are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
Use your nodes lawfully. Our Acceptable Use Policy, part of these terms, spells out the specifics: no attacking or scanning other systems, spam, malware, cryptocurrency mining, attacks on the platform or other tenants, and lawful-use plus sanctions/export compliance. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate those rules or endanger the service.
4. Billing
Usage is billed at the rates shown when you start a node, for the time your node is running. Parked nodes may accrue storage charges. You agree to pay the fees your usage incurs.
5. Your data
Node disks persist between sessions on a best-effort basis. This is not a backup service; keep copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
Your content is yours. We do not use customer content, including node disks and files, snapshots, uploads, object storage, command strings, logs, job inputs and outputs, imported data, and telemetry, to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or otherwise improve machine-learning models or generalized products, and our subprocessors are not permitted to either. Our Data Use Policy, part of these terms, spells out the details and the narrow security and abuse-prevention exceptions.
6. Publicity
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your name and logo to identify you as a customer on our website and in our marketing materials, consistent with any brand guidelines you provide. We won't imply endorsement beyond the fact that you use the service. You can withdraw this permission at any time through the contact form, and we'll remove the mention within a reasonable period.
7. Availability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it up, but we don't guarantee availability, capacity, or that a parked node will always wake.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end the service or your access to it, with notice where practical.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
